Our Rebbe!
Meet Ha Rav Natanel Ben Aryeh Levi Ha Cohen. He is a fourth generation rav, and can trace his Cohanim lineage all the way back to Tsaduk, and ultimately, Aharon. He is working on his Doctorial Thesis and holds a Masters of Theology and Hebrew letters, and works as a Sofer. Additionally, he is studying the laws and practices of being a Shokheit and Mohel. He has written many books including Disputation of Christianity and A Brief Study on the Mithraic Origins of Christianity. Currently he is engaged in a project to rescue old books written in any language, pertaining to Judaism. He has Synagogues across the country that he will redistribute these books to for use in their school. If you feel that you have books that the schools would benifit from, please get in contact with Rav Levi via E-mail to arrange for shipping.

His Background
Rav Levi heralds from a Sephardic background. His father is a first generation American Yeminite, and his mother is of Italian Jewish ancestry. He does a great deal of work in the geneological field. He has currently traced over twenty five families of cohanim and levi'im. His research will ultimately be sent to the Hebrew University for verification, and the names of the families will be added to the archives so that they may possibly be eligible for temple duty when it is rebuilt. His Goals
It is our goal to eventually offer online classes to our members. We are currently accepting ideas from our members on what in particular they would like to learn about. Most classes will be free, but others will only be available after a payment of a small fee. Hebrew courses will be offered following the New year. If you have any ideas on classes of any topic pertinet to Judaism, please E-mail the president at the synagogue E-mail, or E-mail Ha Rav Levi.
